Damm good observation Sylon! Perhaps this this is really a mockup.
I tried looking around the web... seems that BMW likes to put the "fuel door" in the right rear quarter glass. Like on this Z4 GT3...
I was even looking really closely at the shots I took of the kidney grills (and of the rest of the concept car)... there isn't a radiator behind the grills(!) - just a black pannel. It's a mockup! I remember when I was shooting these pics... the only thing that looked weird to me was the wavy black out wrap on the rear quarter glass. Seemed like a amatuer job in wrapping the trim.
