TL;DR: the PS4S was slightly better than the PSS across the board...but just barely. It was equal in the lateral G tests.
You can also read their subjective testing which might shed some light on driveability concerns like road noise or wear. It just depends on what's important to YOU in a tire.

I've decided on the PS4S when the time comes in April. I may not install them right away but I'll try and catch them at a deal then. Not sure entirely when my tires I have on my M were installed and I feel the service life on this set of tires is coming due.
