Stock files are the same between 6MT and DCT.

Files aren't different as they were for E46 M3.

Edit: After helping OP remotely, it appears that the file provided to him is not the correct software variant for a US spec car.

Engine malfunction errors should always have corresponding faults. In this case the OP does not, so that means that those faults were removed from the ECU to prevent the car from triggering the light.
