I LOVE MY ATAK!!
There is no drone at all for me after about 9 months, and I had the OE Mod before that for 3-4 months I think.
I don't think the ATAK is really any louder, it is just much deeper and throatier. In comparison the OE Mod has more of a bark and it is higher pitched, at times unrefined. I honestly think the EO Mod is louder at cold start and WOT as far as db levels are concerned, but of course the bass of the ATAK is a very noticeable difference.
The ATAK is just an overall much better and more refined sound as its a complete designed system, not a modded one, if that makes sense. It really produces a great sound, I much prefer the ATAK. If you like a more high pitched sounding system, the Corsa would be my 2nd choice. Also ZERO drone there.
