Honestly, I feel the materials in the 991 are a bit nicer and the 992 is a bit more plasticy like the piano black. I also don't care for losing the ability to see all five gauges anymore and I don't care for the shaver shifter. I also like the 991 steering wheel a bit better. Weird, I know. |
Agree 992 interior may look more special but the older steering wheel, physical controls and more compact gauge cluster of the 991 make for a better ownership experience. I drove a 992 and it is very nice but some weird ergonomics are going on with the new Porsche interiors, at least the 992 features some more physical controls than the Cayenne and Panamera, can't even see how much gas in the car!
