yup, buy a torx to drive in there to get it out and then buy a new one.

another way is to drill a small hole toward the edge of the drain plug. the hole only needs to be big enough and deep enough to get a pointed drift into the hole. then just hammer away at the drift at an angle tangential to the direction the plug will start unscrewing counter clockwise. Hope that makes sense. I have done it, but maybe easier to do than type in any way that makes sense.
