Went to Chuckwalla (CW) with PCA San Diego this weekend. Nice weekend. Got into the low 90's on Sunday though....c'mon man....I'm done with the heat!!! Let's see some cooler days!
On this trip, I feel like I sorted out more things about the track. I was able to do a track walk on Friday when dropping off my trailer. Man, I just love track walks. Turn 6/7 has always been a sore spot for me. I stood on the track and just stared at it for awhile. When driving, I approached that 6/7 turn differently, and it really paid off.
Anyway, my time was a new personal best and it was good enough to be fastest lap of the weekend.

One other note: PCA has a new national rule now----no open passing. Even the Advanced group requires a point-by at all times. That was---ummm---interesting.
