I know how to fix the technicolor issue,

first use meg plastX (plastic cleaner) to clean then wax it with a couple of layers of a hard wax, I use zymol concours but it doesn't have to be that fancy, collonite or another will probably work as well.

finally, always hand wash the car, I have found it does the technicolor effect only when going through touchless car washes, probably due to the harsh cleaners used.
