Consider other expenses. For instance, can't go square setup in the GT3 (not sure if you can with the Cayman). Any upgrades would probably be more expensive for GT3. Also the new Porsche's have electric steering. You may not like that.
Also, this is probably something that is weird to think, but happened to a friend of mine. Getting rear ended in a 911 can be very expensive.
