My philosophy goes like this: for me, driving is a hobby. I love it. If I could, I'd take road trips half way across the country just for shits and giggles. Because I enjoy driving, I want to also enjoy what I'm driving. I've already decided that an E90 M3 sedan will be the eventual successor to my 335i, and if I find one that I like with the options that I want that just so happens to have 100,000 miles on the odometer, so be it. I look at gas, and maintenance, and repairs as necessary evils. Those costs keep me and my car on the road where I have the most fun. It might sound cliche, but we truly only live once. If I want to enjoy a high-performance German-made automobile, then by God I'm gonna do it, regardless of what the odometer tells me.
