Castrol Sports Edge 10w-60 for M3
I had a oil change done a month ago and have done 1000 km since when the amber low engine oil warning light came on. Check the electronic measurement and it indicated minimum and required 1 litre to top up.
The last oil change cost me AUS$250 for 10 ltrs of TWS oil alone at the stealer dealer.
I decided to go to the local Auto One store to check out the Castrol oil in stock. I went armed the TWS specs 10w-60 with ACEA A3/B3. Castrol Sports Edge is of the same viscosity and spec and a 5 litre can cost me $80. I don't know whether this is available in all markets but to me it saved me a lot of money.
In the future an oil change (DIY) will cost me $160 and some elbow grease.
Hope this helps anyone who is looking for TWS alternate.
