I have the conti ECS (and love them, my 3rd set on two different cars) now on my 18's - but I've had such a great experience with the 19" PS4S I think I'm also going to go with them for my next set of 18's. You really can't go wrong with either.

The conti actually runs about the same width as the PS4S but on my cars anyway, the PS4S seems to have a bit more rim protection in the same size, so that while the tire is "stretched" or supported very well depending on who you talk to, the rim isn't anywhere close to poking out. The 19" contis I have on our E63 are really bad about this, classic conti narrowness, a 285/30-19 on a 9.5 AMG wheel looks narrower than the 275/30-19 PS4S on my 220M's.
