I had scratches on my iDrive screen too. Depending on how bad they are, you may be able to just apply a matte screen protector. I did that (without polishing off the AR coating) and the matte screen protector made 95% of the scratches invisible. Only the really bad ones were slightly visible from certain angles under direct lighting. Needs to be a matte screen protector tho.
