The car will definitely check it once it's warm after each start of the engine. Hmm okay
Cause I remember every time I have had low oil warnings and I added a little (cause I know it says add a qt...but I rather under fill than over fill), I'd need to drive around for it to get back up to operating temp (and the sensor resets?) to get a new/updated reading.
