I just installed the wheel about an hour ago. I live in downtown Chicago and did it in my parking garage. The install went well, I used the DIY for the Nelson racing wheel and various other DIY's.
Same tools also. I used a breaker to break the steering wheel nut off with minimal effort. I then torqued the new on on to about 46lbs.
The images are attached below. Please note that the blue stripe in the center is centered correctly, I just have the wheel rotated slightly. Its an optical illusion.
I went on a test drive through parts of the city. I really enjoy this wheel, as my old one had significant wear.
The grips fit my hands great and I feel very confident with the form fitting. The flat bottom takes a fl it of getting used to on turns, but I think its great. Its a good upgrade.
