The details are well known. It’s what Dinan did. Malek did a thread with pictures long ago. But if you can get the B6 or B8 or a Koni equivalent then you don’t need to cut the strut mounts or buy E36M3 bump stops since the aftermarket struts and shocks have shorter internals that offset the suspension travel loss from shorter springs.
