[Feeler] 2010 LeMans e92 M3

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 33,500.00

Item Interest
"everything is always for sale, it was just a matter of price"

With that in mind I am listing a feeler for my 2010 e92 M3, LeMans Blue over Black leather with carbon trim. I found myself responding to a few WTB threads and figured it was better to just post all of the information in one spot. I appreciate that some will see the asking price of $33,500 and think its overpriced. That is fine, everyone can have their opinion. I don't need to sell and will only sell under the right circumstances. Last 7 of VIN is P362949. The reason I am posting is because I don't drive it as much as I would like and that wont change over the next 18-24 months with 2 young kids so if I can find the right buyer I would let it go and likely pick up another one in some time.

Recent Maintenance (all the below done @ AutoCouture Motoring) and other service items
- Current mileage is just over 54k.
- Rod Bearings service and alignment (5/24/19, 51.4k miles) along with break in oil change (7/19/19, 52.4k miles)
- Transmission, brake, diff fluid, oil change and spark plugs (7/13/2018, 49.4k miles)
- Oil change, alignment (7/21/17, 47.7k miles)
- Oil change (7/26/16, 43.5k miles)
- Tire: Michelin MPSS 255/275, the fronts are ~7-8/32 and the rears are ~5/32 from memory, didn't have my tire gauge with my today. Tires are from early 2016. One was replaced because I had a blowout on a pothole on Route 17N about 1 year after the others but all are matching.
- Rear brakes are needed in 8k miles, fronts 23k. I have never changed the rotors, so I would imagine the fronts probably will need rotors when the pads go.

"Mods"
- Corsa exhaust (came with the car), though I might take it back to stock and sell that separately
- M5 illuminated shift knob
- Black grill (IND)
- Black side gills (IND)
- Color matched reflectors
- Rear of the car is tinted pretty dark (came that way, no idea on %, only on rear nothing on front/windshield as you can see in the pictures)

The bad... I am not wanting to waste anyone's time, and so I am detailing what I know up front. Everything is detailed in the pictures.

- the passenger door has a mark from where a piece of debris fell off a truck and caught my car while it ricocheted around the highway. No other contact with the car.
- The passenger rear quarter panel has a door ding from a parking lot. More of just the paint chipping than a dent (was a very cold day) right along the line of the car.
- the front bumper/hood show some signs of being a 10 year old car, underside of the bumper is a bit scraped but not visible from the front (the picture from the RB service shows the underside a bit).
- there is a small scratch on the rear bumper by the exhaust. I think I might be able to polish it out but I only noticed it when I went to store it for the winter. Probably 2" or so but shallow.
- the 2 front rims have some curb rash (see pictures)
- driver door has a small ding and a scratch (which might be able to be polished out).
- driver sideskirt has a blemish, not sure how it happened as it came that way
- driver bolster shows some signs of wear as is typical in these cars it seems. No other real wear to speak of on the interior to my eye. The rear seats have been sat in/used specifically by my kids car seats but the leather is still tight.
- trunk has a stain, I have never tried to clean it so not sure how permanent it is or isn't.

Other questions

Paint/repair work: When I reviewed the CarFax when I purchased the car, and inquired of the dealer I purchased it from if there was any accidents/indications of the paint not being original I was told no and to my eye I didn't detect anything. There has been no paintwork on the car during my ownership. So while I can't say with 100% certainty that the paint is all original, I am fairly certain, I just can't be 100% positive. I don't have a current carfax report.

Track/Autocross: None under my ownership. While it was always my intent to, I haven't tracked or autocrossed the car. Honestly, I also am not that hard on the car when I do drive it. It is always warmed up appropriately and rarely goes over 6,500 rpms when warm and I have never bounced it off the rev limiter, etc. [EDIT]: Took the car to LRPs autocross on 9/26. Very little stress on the car relative to what it is engineered to do but want to make sure it is updated in case anyone is interested in the car.

Garage queen: It hasn't always been the case, but it has been pretty much stored in the winter/bad weather since May 2017. From February 2015 (purchase) until October 2016 it was parked outside of my condo. During this time I didn't drive it much in the winter because I worked in Manhattan and took public transit directly from our condo into the city. On the weekends we drove my wife's car. From October 2016 until May 2017 it was my daily driver which took me from my home to a bus stop ~2.5 miles away. I also drove it on the weekends in the 'elements' during that period when we couldn't drive my wife's car, which was infrequent but did happen. Since May 2017, I have had another car that does 80% of my driving and the M3 is very much a garage queen.
