I'm doubtful SPL says anything publicly. Like most of these small manufacturers they likely don't have any kind of product liability insurance. So they'll run away from this and deny any issues. Which also they look to have some plausible deniability.

I hope I am wrong and SPL steps up and owns this but that's likely not the reality.

Does anyone know if SPL has a service life on these arms?

These were brand new.
