If it makes you feel any better (not that you need to) I have a Longines dress watch that dates to 1957 and the only reason I don't wear it every day is that it's not water resistant - it's been quite trouble free for me. hahaha, I had to read that a few times to figure out whether you were being sarcastic . That is a nice piece. My FIL has an older Rolex and I have to admit, the older watches have a lot of charisma. Anyway, enjoy in good health.

The reason I got the Longines is that I want to take up scuba diving, and being able to withstand 200M, I can potentially go down that deep, despite the fact that I don't think humans could go down that far, but its nice to know that your watch won't fold on you under all that pressure.
