A gloss finish will look good with the shadowline trim, however....Any type of gloss finish in black is going to suck to clean. It will always show brake dust easy, and it wil be a MuthaFeerr to try and polish any scratches out later. My flat finish wheels have taken Zero effort to clean and dont show the dust since they look flat any ways. Theres a guy in this forum who lives in Ocean Ranch with a mineral white e93 that had the same flat finish VMRs that I have, looked good.
