I too have had the acceleration stop as I was trying to shift right at or just below 8400 rpms. I have noticed it only once as I rarely redline my car on the highway. To keep constant acceleration, you must shift around 7500rpms, as someone mentioned previously, to keep the engine from basically stalling out at 8400+ rpms. Despite this one time, I love the M-DCT and would still take it over manual anyday.
