This is key and the reason I wanted to try these, I had stock mid section with test pipes and wanted to try a catless xpipe setup and those were not much cheaper than this setup, they also didn't have the xpipe design where it is further up like i wanted, only the hard to find MRF or Gintani xpipes have the x further up i think and those are usually pricey when you find one used.
I would also say that with the headers, the potential is greater if a tune is done to take advantage of the headers. Others have proved that a custom tune for the headers can make more power over an off the shelf tune.
