Been spending more time driving my car this week, and have been using the factory BMW bluetooth audio streaming (with CarPlay displaying as normal) to get the best sound quality. It's definitely a lot better than the Krem wireless CarPlay unit (even in wired mode). I have the HK system with factory bluetooth streaming in my car.
I can't get Waze voice/alerts to work this way which is a pain, but most of the time simply having it displayed on the iDrive screen is enough.
Damn I love having CarPlay in this car
