Well, in all fairness, the AMG GT is a mid-engined car, but a front mid. It is impressive to see what they ran but given the GT2RS did it a couple years ago I have no doubt Porsche will soon be beating this time with either the GT3RS or GT2/RS.

GT3 won't get there just due to its lack of power. The next 2RS might however.
