I did the free mod today as well.
So far, I guess after 3500 miles, I have already got used to it with the springs. Def felt the difference after the removal. Will have to start getting used to this new feeling again.
Anyway, I couldnt remove the top pin as it is blocked by the brake pedal. So I just leave it in there. Anyone know how to remove it?
Also, the clutch does feel a lil loose without the spring.
