I bought my '08 E90 MT last summer at 116,000kms (72,000 miles). Its now at 127,000kms (79,000 miles). Here is the notable stuff:
48,000kms (30,000 miles) Replace coil and diff oil pump
78,000kms (48,000 miles) Replace bank 1 throttle actuator
94,000kms (58,000 miles) Replace battery
108,000kms (67,000 miles) Replace thermostat
125,000kms (77,000 miles) Replace driver's side door handle (comfort access not working)
Form the records there seems to have been a fair amount of work done on the diff (oil changes, pump failure). Maybe this is a weak area on these cars.
Other than that its been regular maintenance stuff.
So far so good although I have just purchased a bumper to bumper warranty for peace of mind.
