Apologies for the late response.
It was purchased for my 08 pre-LCI M3. I'll have to take a picture of the connectors that came with it if you want, but this is a plug and play kit that will work with the OEM EDC system, at least that's what FCP Euro states. Additionally, the fitment on their site is as follows:
