Ok, back again to post an answer to my own question. Someone on Reddit told me about
www.newtis.info and pointed out the #89 fuse which was in fact blown.
(FYI it could be #70 fuse for E90 models before late 07)
Hopefully, someone finds this info useful at some point in the future.
