Agreed cardboard would have been best, but I didn't have any around and hadn't planned on getting it. I just layed on the ground and then walked around with what appeared to be a large skin rash on my left arm/shoulder for a few days. I only use 6 ton because I'm very paranoid about being crushed, I've heard horror stories of even craftsman 3 tons failing. One in particular because the lip snapped that comes in contact with the jacking point. The actual arm didn't break, but the car still slipped off as a result.
