Ended up going with the Audio Control LC2i LOC/ Line Driver. Not only is it a LOC but it has a signal processor that prevents factory bass 'roll off", I also got a Hifonics Bass Restoraio Processor an Alpine Type R 12" (wired @ 2 ohms) and a 2400 Watt Class D Pioneer Amp.
Sound is great. Still planning on upgrading to one of the OEM looking Android Multimedia decks. Until then couldnt me happier...
