How many miles since the last plugs were changed? How many miles since the last time the coils were changed?
If you don't know the answer to these questions I would do the plugs first. Then ignition coils 2nd. Then address fueling issues.
I went through the same thing but on a supercharged M3. I thought it was traction control too. Not the case in my situation.
