Yeah, I'm also thinking about the 8-15mm, which goes from round fisheye to ultra-wide rectangular on the 5D MkII, PLUS my DxO Optics Pro software will take the round fisheye image and lay it out into a ultra-ultra wide angle image. The idea of a fisheye-only doesn't appeal to me, but going into ultra-wide and the occasional fisheye image has its attractions.
Right now, with my 24-105mm, I often find myself out at 24mm looking for a little more width.
