Went to a shop to have the OEM FCABs pressed in (not a DIY unless you get new arms with FCABs already in) and they said I'd be silly to pay them for the work since mine looked just fine. So, I returned the Lemforders, but I am still not happy with the shimmy under braking. So I'm back to thinking about these as well.
I am not sure if this bushing rotates like the E46 RTABs (I suspect it does), but in that application, (1) the monoball allows full rotation to maintain suspension geometry, unlike poly, and (2) the NVH difference between poly and monoball is basically nil.
Not sure I see the benefit of poly in this case if racing rules permit both types.
