(To expand on what CanAutM3 was trying to say,) ideally, you'd want your hands at 3 & 9 o'clock positions. Also, try to sit up closer to the steering wheel. When you go around fast corners, or the car slides (although, w/ DSC on, you needn't worry much about the car sliding), you don't want to be sliding on the seat to the sides wherein you can barely reach the steering wheel.

unfortuately, my seating position is limited by my height...I'd love to be a little closer. As far as the hands go, I've seen 10 and 2 recommended, though i'm a bit higher...need to fix that. how do you get grip on the m3 wheel at 9/3? i find the wheel bars prevent getting a good grip.
