I can't really give any info on the Rowe, but the Liqui Moly I have used to top up in the M. I do use it in my '08 R1200GS Adventure and it is no noisier than using 0w40 or 15w50 mobil 1. That engine has the adjustable rockers and air/oil cooled with the heads just out in the breeze, so it's super easy to hear the clatter going on.
