I'm not sure the exact specs on how much lower it is I tried looking it up for exact specs and wasn't too successful. If it helps I'm including a few pictures slightly larger pics of the bumper on our E92 M3. Also this is lowered an additional inch over stock on H&R Sport Springs.
It's not the same clearance as stock it's a little lower also because the middle part of the lip comes out and slightly angles down.
It it a direct bolt on.
