I think this deserves a poll. My inkling is the M2/M3/M4 will impress despite all this hogwash about FI transition being a let down. If the new entry level M cars are going to be lighter, more powerful (torque increase mainly), and more rigid (as many blogs have indicated), I don't see how the new entry level M cars will not impress on the street and track vs. E92. Granted it won't likely have that frenetic F-1 high rev nature any longer, but regardless, it should still be tuned to impress. If BMW still continues producing true M cars as such, I'll still be interested in owning one. M135i comments by JC are well said, but I don't care what other people think they have, I only care what I KNOW I have and that it performs to expectations of a true M car.
