Using new stock rod bolts, a used crankshaft, three different used rods, and 3 different bearing sets I found the following today:

Genuine BMW Bearings: .0019"
ACL STD: .0018" (a little tight)
ACL HX: .0029" (a little loose)
My Set: .0023"
