When comparing two platforms both cars should be equal MT vs MT & DCT vs DCT period if you don't agree then you have an agenda against one or the other cause they both play a big roll ..

HUGE roll, imagine a GT-R or a Turbo S PDK with a 6MT, they would be completely different cars acceleration wise, the same applies to the E9X M3.
