I think we should say that the best design won and acknowledge that this was a team effort with individual dimensions. Long live Logo 1!
I suggest we adopt it as is and don't mess with it right now. It can always be made better, but we had enough discussion around that for the time being. Maybe in a few months, we can open it up for minor revisions.
