I had 2 OEM M3 cover. First one was loose as hell and started coming apart after 6 month. Got it replaced under warranty. Second one was way tight, they must have changed the materials in the meantime. It had problem fitting. It got looser a bit but still very tight.
The quality on that cover is not great, in fact it's rather weak material that is not woven but blasted. On it's own it's too fragile to be used as an outdoor cover.
Then i bought a high end Sunbrella cover (woven) custom made for the m3. It's the best cover in the market (guarranteed 5 years) really tough and also much classier looking.
An excellent investment. I now use the oem cover as an undercover only and the sunbrella on top. Excellent combination.
