www.radardetector.net. They have a lot of discussion on this sort of stuff. I think you are making a good choice sticking with the V1. The linked site should help with the laser jammer stuff.
This guy on Youtube has a ZR3 jammer and he has a bunch of videos showing it in action. Looks pretty good to me. The key with jamming is even if you get one that "Jams to Gun", you use the jamming period to hit the brakes and then turn off the system, so they clock you at the speed limit.
