The beauty of RWD doesn't necessarily involve drifts and burnouts (although that can be fun). Being fast in a powerful RWD car in general takes more skill and finesse than in an AWD car. And since track driving for me is about fun (after all I am no racer, I just track in non-competitive events), that added challenge makes me prefer RWD.
