I doubt the PC has enough power to effectively move the pad. The Rupes has a lot of torque and a long throw (15mm) that the PC doesn't have (I have both).
My concern with the wool pads is they are super aggressive, which means quick to work, which in the hands of an amateur like me means burned through paint.
Practice on your beater car first!
