I didn't think Manning would "torch" the Hawks defense, but I thought the Manning & the Broncos would at least make it competitive. Personally, I wanted the Broncos to beat the pants off the Hawks BUT I saw "doom" written all over the game for the Broncos right after the first snap. NEVER saw anything like that in pro-football before.

A safety, 2 field goals and 2 INTs and 2 TDs later, the Broncos were down 22-0 at the half. It was still "possible" for the Broncos to come back, but the kick return for the touchdown making it 29-0 at the start of the 3rd quarter essentially put the game away and I stopped paying attention. The extra 14 points were just icing on the cake and all the Hawks had to do was run time off the clock. Game over.
