Those valved systems aren't necessary. My setup is 100% linear, it's loud when i want it to be loud and it's not reasonable when I want to be reasonable. It's like I can control it with my right foot or something.
I'm less than $2,000 into my exhaust system due to a really good deal from
Denk on the Corsa, I picked up my Mastermind X-Pipe for like $700 and welded in 4 Vibrant 1792's. You can buy a used Corsa between $900-$1300, then go buy an MS X-Pipe and be done with it, $2,400 max for a great setup.
