I've been having the oil analysis done, but from what I learned on the forums is if you have the new bearings they do not have the same copper/lead content of older MY bearings. That means oil analysis will not show the same spike of usual materials indicating failure. I could not find any updated information about what to look for. My particular car actually had an engine already replaced at 35k under warranty by a previous owner so I wasn't taking any chances. I auto-x and drive my car enthusiastically and just wanted the peace of mind. I can't find the super long and informative bearing thread, but it's out there. If you need me to find it let me know and I'll search more.
