The only simple thing you can do if it is inside the bell housing is to pull the slave and check the tip of the pin. Is the plastic gone? Is the grease gone? If it’s more than that, you have to pull the trans to inspect the pivot pin on the other side of the clutch fork, the trans input shaft splines, the guide tube, and the release bearing.

Since it is barely audible, and you hear it only on the rare occasion when you depress the clutch with the engine off, I would not worry about it. If it gets worse, then you know what to do.
