For this reason the E9x M3 was the pinnacle of the m3. You could make the argument for the E46 I guess, but its got a lot of nagging maintenance/reliability issues and only 6 cylinders. They'll never gain back what made the old M cars great.

Well put. BTW, I have the exact same mods as you lol. Ohlins RT, Alpine stage II, Test pipes, and Corsa
