I'm no expert, but that seems like a dicey proposition. Now you have a caliper that is not matched up to the proper disc. Brakes aren't exactly something I'd want to cobble something together on.
If you feel the need to upgrade the rotor (assume you mean a non-OEM design), sell the Brembo calipers and just buy a big brake
kit that works as a system.
